Dancel (Ketoconazole BP 2%) shampoo is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of infections in which the yeast Malassezia (previously called Pityrosporum) is involved, such as pityriasis versicolor (localised), seborrhoeic dermatitis and pityriasis capitis (dandruff).
